Saskatoon Crisis Intervention Service
Community Impact
SCIS provides phone, in office and Mobile Crisis 24/7/365 response to over 30,000 individuals and families each year. Our caring and professional staff offer assessment, intervention and referrals for individuals and families and are available to respond 24 hours a day.
We also provide daily intensive support for some of Saskatoon's most vulnerable citizens.
Financial Breakdown
Financial donations support all 3 of our service areas; Mobile Crisis Service, Crisis Management Service and Journey Home - Housing First.
Philosophy
SCIS provides quality and timely crisis intervention and intensive community support for all Saskatoon Citizens 24 hours each day, 365 days of the year.
Established on September 1, 1980, Saskatoon Crisis Intervention Service is a non-profit community based organization that provides crisis intervention services to anyone living in Saskatoon who is experiencing distress and needing immediate help.
Programs & Services
Mobile Crisis Service intervenes and manages social, emotional and psychological emergencies for those experiencing acute and ongoing crisis 24 hrs/day on the phone, in the office or community.
Crisis Management Service provides intensive community support for people who have significant and enduring mental health challenges.
Journey Home provides voluntary participants with the intensive clinical and practical support to secure long term housing.
