Community Impact
We ensure access to current information and promote awareness awareness about mental health, we reduce stigma, we empower people to talk about and address their mental health needs, we support access to mental health services and programs, we help people get and maintain employment and improve their financial security and we work in partnership with government and community agencies to build mentally healthy communities.
Financial Breakdown
We receive funding from the Government of Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Health Authority, individual donors and community funding organizations such the Saskatoon Community Foundation, United Way of Saskatoon and similar granting agencies.
Philosophy
CMHA Saskatoon vision is mental health for all. As a leader and champion for mental health, we facilitate access to the resources people need to maintain and improve their mental health, be fully included in the community and build resilience and well being.
Programs & Services
Vocational programs including pre employment and employment support, life skills, job search and job development, labour consulting, employer support and mental health education and awareness, advocacy and system navigation and community referral. People can self refer and we also receive referrals from health professionals. We are a hub for information and support on mental health and the first point of contact for individuals and families.
How You Can Help
We depend on the generosity of individual donors to deliver our programs to fill the gaps in our other funding. |
