Empty Arms has service available to anyone in the community and surrounding communities, who is experiencing, or who has experienced the loss of a pregnancy or infant. To ensure everyone receives the support they need, they provide their services free of charge. Their certified birth and bereavement companions are trained to provide emotional support that extends beyond the needs of the families at the hospital.
Their companions assist families navigating the health care system as well as provide resources to assist making informed decisions. Their services are available at any point during a loss journey, and they include the following:
