More about us

Community Impact

Nutrien Wonderhub’s community extends far beyond the walls of our home at the Mendel. Through outreach programming, affiliations with community-focused events and initiatives, and our own signature events, we continue our commitment to creating interactive, inclusive opportunities to play, learn, and grow for children and families.

Financial Breakdown

At Nutrien Wonderhub we have many programs that are supported by donations: Free Days Nutrien Wonderhub wants to reduce obstacles preventing access to our facility for all families. With sponsorship support, Nutrien Wonderhub will have designated Free Days to allow the entire community to benefit from the enriched environment that Nutrien Wonderhub provides. We hope to light a creative spark, nurture curiosity, and help every child develop a love of learning that will help them thrive and succeed. Access Program The Access Program is designed to make Nutrien Wonderhub accessible to all children in Saskatoon, regardless of socioeconomic background or geographic location. Through sponsorship support, classrooms from Saskatoon’s community schools, preschools, and community groups are invited to book educational Discovery Program visits, complete with transportation arrangements at no cost to the school.

Our Philosophy

Our Mission is to combine play with education, bridging the gap between school and home and attracting tourists through hands-on exhibits, programs, and outreach that celebrate art, science, technology, and the cultural fabric of Saskatchewan. Our Vision Let dreams soar.

Programs and Services

Nutrien Wonderhub offers many classes and workshops in paid and free formats. All of our classes and workshops incorporate STEAM learning and encourage children, families, and adults to understand and appreciate the intersection of science, technology, engineering, art, and math and include curriculum tie-ins at a variety of grade levels. We are pleased to offer a variety of workshops taught by our Wonderhub staff, our devoted volunteers, and local organizations and experts. Your little learners will enjoy themed workshops, guided activities, crafts, storytelling, and a healthy dose of exploration to stimulate curiosity through hands-on, child-led learning. For more information about program offerings, or if you’re interested in facilitating a workshop at the museum, please contact: Kat Moon (Program and Outreach Coordinator)  (306) 249‑3574 or kat@wonderhub.ca
